A new classroom, sponsored by the international English language training centre EF Education First, was has been launched at KAZGUU University. EF is well known around the world as a leader in education abroad.
The official ceremony was attended by the director of EF Kazakhstan, A. Zhunusova; as well as the leadership, staff, and students of KAZGUU University.
In his welcome speech, M. Daulenov, Deputy Chairman of KAZGUU Board, noted that the newly renovated classroom, located next door to the Department of Foreign Languages of the Language Training Centre at the School of General Education, will become a launching pad where partners will be able to run joint projects, including piloting and implementing the cutting-edge teaching methodology.
The new classroom is equipped with a multimedia system, laptop, projector, an interactive whiteboard, and a separate Wi-Fi point providing comfortable conditions for studying the English language.
KAZGUU started the cooperation with EF in December 2016, when they signed a Memorandum on collaboration in the field of education and research. Part of this cooperation are language training programmes for students and teachers, and online language proficiency testing.
